What: Capital Pride Town Hall Meeting and Panel Discussion: "Queer Economies: The Real Truth about the Financial Status of the GLBT Community." Participants will discuss the diverse components of our community, and begin to work on developing and implementing solutions to the financial issues and concerns facing GLBT individuals in the Metropolitan DC area.

Why: This annual Capital Pride event brings together leaders of the GLBT community to discuss current issues.

The 33rd annual celebration of Capital Pride will be marked by a weeklong series of educational, civic and social events, culminating with the traditional parade on Saturday, June 14, and street festival on Sunday, June 15.
