Join the Capital Pride Alliance and the Historical Dupont Circle Mainstreets for the 17th Street Pride Block Party: Presented by Absolut! Located along 17th Street in DC’s historic Dupont circle neighborhood, this annual party honors DC’s “Gayborhood”, and features local food, adult beverage garden, and various activities in celebration of Pride!
Food & Beverage
Dine indoors or outside along 17th street at over a dozen iconic restaurants and eateries in this historic neighborhood.
Enjoy adult beverages and drink specials from participating bars and restaurants while strolling 17th street! DC Water will also be joining us with their quench buggy, so bring your reusable water bottles and hydrate throughout the day!
Please note that you must be 21 years or older to consume alcohol. Alcohol may not be carried outside 17th Street, between P and S streets.

Capital Pride Family Fun Festival

Join us at Stead Park for a vibrant celebration of community, creativity, and Pride! This inclusive and joyful event is designed for families and children to enjoy a day of fun, connection, and laughter before the Capital Pride Parade. Explore a variety of activities, including games, crafts, glitter tattoos, hair tinsel, story time, an inflatable obstacle course, photo ops, and more!
Our official Family Area is a welcoming space for all ages — while especially enjoyed by children ages 2–10. Everyone is invited to take part in the festivities.
We’re grateful to the Friends of Stead Park and the DC Department of Parks and Recreation for hosting this special celebration!
Each family/household must register individually. You only need to reserve one ticket for your family/household.
