Out Brigade
You didn’t think we’d let this year take away our right to a parade, did you?! Hop in your decorated car, turn up the music, and join our Out Brigade mobile parade train, as we spread joy, resilience, and PRIDE throughout all 8 Wards of Washington, DC! Participants are encouraged to use their creativity to display their pride with lively banners, flags, costumes, and decorations! Participants with the best decorated Pridemobiles or who has fundraised the most, will be eligible to win exciting prizes.
Proceeds from this event will benefit The DC Center and the Capital Pride Alliance, so that pride celebrations, important programming, and critical advocacy work can continue in 2021 and beyond.

VEHICLE REGISTRATION
Only one registration per vehicle, regardless of the number of passengers. If you have more than one vehicle, make sure to register as a team.
– Multi-Passenger Vehicle (i.e. car, truck, or van) Fee = $100*
- One multi-person vehicle entry
- One original #StillWe tee (While supplies last.)
- Two rally signs for vehicle
- $5 off drive-in movie ticket at Park Up DC to watch Hocus Pocus
- Choice of a Progressive Pride flag, Trans Pride flag, or Black Lives Matter flag (While supplies last.)
– Single-Passenger Vehicle (i.e. motorcycle, bike, scooter, etc) Fee = $25*
- One single-person vehicle entry
- One original #StillWe tee (While supplies last.)
- Two rally signs for vehicle
- Choice of a Progressive Pride flag, Trans Pride flag, or Black Lives Matter flag (While supplies last.)
– Participation Grant: (Apply Here) If you are not able to cover the registration fee and want to participate, please fill out our online Participation Grant form. If selected, you will receive a promo code to complete registration. You will still be asked to setup a fundraising page.
*Registered vehicles that reach a minimum fundraising goal, will have their registration fee waived!
*All registered vehicles will receive $5 off the screening. More information below.
TEAMS/CARAVANS
If you have a group and want to ensure you caravan together, please create a team. You will be asked at the start of the registration process if you want to join or create a team. Be sure to share your chosen team name with those you want to have join your team. There is no additional fee to participate as a team, though team members are encouraged to also create a Team Fundraiser.
BECOME A FUNDRAISER
Support the LGBTQ community further by becoming a fundraiser as an added benefit your registration fee could be refunded. You are encouraged to create a fundraiser for you and your team to support The DC Center for the LGBT Community, the Capital Pride Alliance, and our partner LGBTQ+ organizations. If you reach the target goal for the category you’ve registered for ($250: multi-passenger vehicle, $100: single-person vehicle), your registration fee will be refunded. You also have the ability to connect your fundraiser to a Facebook fundraiser. Fundraising will continue through October 30, 2020.
*Prizes will be awarded to the top personal fundraiser and team fundraiser.
CHECK POINTS
Each registered vehicle will be assigned a designated checkpoint to check-in and start from. After checking in, you will make your way to each designated checkpoint, as part of a caravan of vehicles. All vehicles MUST follow traffic laws. Participants are encouraged to let their Pride be SEEN and HEARD during their route!
The route will not be published to the public. Registered participants will receive the locations of all check points at the virtual orientation on Thursday, October 7.
DRIVE-IN MOVIE at PARK UP DC
– Showing at 7:00 PM: Hocus Pocus (Tickets)

“Park Up DC” is a pop-up experience for the whole family (drive-in style) that will safely bring the community together for affordably priced movies and other entertainment. This drive-in movie series is produced by the minds behind Broccoli City Festival, and hosted by Events DC at historical RFK Campus Lot 5.
Park UP DC features a massive 60 ft HD LED digital screen, high quality sound that is tuned directly through your car’s FM stereo, prepaid delivery food from local food trucks and clean portable restrooms.
