Robert York

Robert currently serves as the senior Director of Development for NMAC, and previously served as the Executive Director for Capital Pride, and as Director of AIDS Walk Washington. In 2005, the Washington Blade named him the Outstanding Male Hero in the LGBT community and in 2014 he was honored with Capital Pride’s Larry Stansbury Award for distinguished service. Robert received his BA in Journalism/Public Relations from the University of Central Oklahoma. Robert currently serves as an Ambassador for The Trevor Project’s DC chapter, also serves on the board of Athlete Ally, and is a published author.
