Music in the Night Returns for the First Time Since 2019
WASHINGTON D.C., October 5, 2022 — The Capital Pride Alliance (CPA) is excited to announce the return of its annual Broadway musical revue, Music in the Night! This evening of song and theatrical performances in a unique dinner theater setting will take place on Monday, October 10th at 8:00 pm, hosted by City Winery. A ticket grants the holder access to the show. Food and specialty drinks will be available from City Winery’s newly unveiled menu for an additional cost. A variety of local talent from across the National Capital Region’s theater community will be joined by special guest, Conrad Ricamora. Other featured artists include Tiffany Lyn Royster, Don Mike Mendoza, Jarrod Bennett, Jim Bowen-Collinson, Miss Kitty, L. Rodgers, Larry Grey, Solomon Parker III, Temídayo Amay, William Hernandez, and Andre Hinds.

More about Conrad Ricamora:
Conrad Ricamora is an American stage, TV, film actor, and singer, best known for essaying an HIV positive gay man, ‘Oliver Hampton,’ on the hit ‘ABC’ TV series ‘How to Get Away with Murder.’ Born in California, he spent his childhood at various air force bases, as his father worked for the US Air Force. He earned a BA in psychology from Queen’s University, Charlotte, and an MFA in Acting from University of Tennessee. Though he started his acting career with a movie, for the major part of his career he performed on the stage and received recognition through his appearance on a TV series. Ricamora has received award and nomination for his work in the off-Broadway musical ‘Here Lies Love,’ while his other theater appearances include, ‘The King and I,’ ‘Soft Power,’ ‘Taming of the Shrew,’ among others. His performance as a gay person in the ABC’s legal series ‘How to Get Away with Murder’ brought him appreciation. In real life, too, he is openly gay and was awarded ‘The Human Rights Campaign’s Visibility Award.’ He wishes to record his own album someday.
