Story District’s Las Cuentistas Workshop Series

The DMV is home to a diverse and vibrant Latine / Latinx / Latina / Latino / Hispanic population with some of the most natural storytellers. From chistes that are shared at family gatherings to the chismes that are spread within social circles, incredible cuentos abound and are a central source of expression and connection.

Story District is looking for Latine / Latinx / Latina / Latino / Hispanic storytellers to participate in Las Cuentistas Workshop Series. In Story District’s interactive two-hour workshop, attendees will learn how to turn meaningful life moments into captivating stories for any audience. Participation is FREE but registration is required. 

The first workshop will take place on Saturday, September 23rd: 2:00pm – 4:00pm in Washington, DC.
