The Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington, DC presents the world premiere of PORTRAITS, a nine-movement commission that represents the vibrant spectrum of sexual, gender, racial, ethnic, and cultural identities through visual art, music, and dance. Each movement will feature one of nine artworks and come to life through music and motion. Each piece will highlight an aspect of the human experience, with lyrics and dance supporting the artist’s original intent.
