Capital Pride announces its 2014 Pride Reveal

WASHINGTON, DC – Capital Pride announces its 2014 Pride Reveal. The Reveal will bring together members of the LGBTA community at the W Hotel for a sneak peek into the marquee events that Capital Pride will produce in 2014. Capital Pride will also unveil the much anticipated theme for the year. While Pride organizers have been mum about the theme, with the success of the 2013 events built around “Unleash the Superhero in You,” expectations are high for what is in store for 2014.

The event will include live performances from members of the local arts community, interactive stations to highlight each marquee event, and an opportunity to learn about Pride’s non-profit partners and organization sponsors. “We decided to launch this event in 2013 as a way to get people excited about Pride at a time of year that traditionally few were thinking about the June celebrations,” said Bernie Delia, President of the Board of Directors of Capital Pride. “This also gave us an additional opportunity to work with our partners in the LGBT community and highlight their events and ours throughout the year.”

Capital Pride produces more than twenty events throughout the year for the LGBTA community of our National Capital Region. Capital Pride marquee events include the annual Pride Festival and Parade with more than 250,000 in attendance.

Pride Reveal event sponsors include: The W Hotel, Celebrity Cruises, Bud Light, Stella Artios, Bloomery Sweet Shine, Event Digital Photography, and Sapore.

WHAT: Pride Reveal: The Pride Reveal Tickets available for purchase online at www.capitapride.org. Tickets are $25.00 in advance and $40.00 at the door. Ticket includes event entry, three complimentary drink tickets, opportunity to win prizes, and much more!
