The Capital Pride Alliance is excited to invite you to participate the first annual Colorful Fest, including a Block Party & Fair on October 17, 2021, proudly presented by Xfinity and Nissan! Join us as we come together to celebrate LGBTQ+ History Month, National Coming Out Day, and our colorful community.
- To participate in the Colorful Fest, all onsite Exhibitors must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination upon arrival. Exhibitors that fail to provide proof of vaccination will be prohibited to participate with no refund.
- For individuals unable to get vaccinated, masks must be worn at all times.
- This event is both outdoors and indoors with large open-air space. Masks should be worn indoors when not eating or drinking.
- There will be no refunds upon submission of your registration, for any reason. The Capital Pride Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Certificate of Insurance
In addition, each registrant must possess general liability insurance and name the following as an additional insured, in a minimum amount of 1,000,000. Please send your to [email protected] with your organization/business name in the subject line, followed by “COI”.

Exhibitor Entrance, Setup, & Breakdown
- Setup: 8AM-12PM
- Breakdown: 6PM-7PM
Vendor access for Dock 5 will be from 8AM-12PM. VEHICULAR ENTRY WILL END AT 11AM. Public parking is available on a first come, first serve basis in front of Union Market. Entry to the Dock 5 alley can be accessed on 5th street. The approximate street address is 1319 5th street NE, Washington, DC 20002. Upon arrival, please wait to be checked in by a Colorful Fest staff member.
*Table assignments will be available on-site.
FAQs
Do you supply power? May I bring a generator?
Power will be supplied to exhibitors located inside the venue during the Colorful Fest. Please bring your own power strip and an extension cord no longer than 25 feet. Food vendors in need of power will need to supply a generator.
Will there be internet access?
Union Market provides public internet access. Please make arrangements for hotspots in the event that the internet is down.
Does everyone at my booth need to be vaccinated to participate?
Yes, anyone who is participating as a vendor, exhibitor, of food provider MUST show proof of vaccination. Masks are not required for this event.
Is there a place where I can leave my trash?
No. Any trash that you create must be removed from the event site at the conclusion of the event.
Can I drop items off the day before or leave them overnight after the event?
No, all items must be brought in or removed during the designated setup/breakdown times.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, leashed dogs are permitted at the event. Pet owners are required to clean up after their pet.
Will there be restrooms?
Yes. Indoor restrooms are located in Dock 5.
Can I sell items on-site?
All exhibitors and vendors are required to file and submit payment for all sales generated at the event.

Yes. A Colorful Fest staff member will assist in coordinating breakdown.
