Heart Bomb Event @ ClubHouse

Uptown Main Street is hosting a uniquely timed heart bomb event on June 8th at 9 AM to celebrate an important site of LGBTQ history near our Main Street.  The ClubHouse was one of the originators of House Music and served as an important place of connection and support for the African American community in DC during the HIV/AIDS crisis.  It is currently a vacant building but we are hoping to bring some attention to it and the many stories held within it.

We will hosting a public heart bomb event on June 8th at 9 AM to decorate the space and bring the founders and historians from the ClubHouse to speak to its history.
