JChris presents Latin Music Celebration: Las Divas y Los Queers

Celebrating the music of Latin divas and Latines in the LGBT+ Community as part of the 2025 Intersections Festival hosted by Atlas Performing Arts Center. This event is also a RELEASE concert for urban Latin artist, JChris’, new single! JChris and his band will be going on tour as global music ambassadors with the U.S. Department of State in March 2025. This celebration concert will be a preview of the international tour before its launch, showcasing the band’s mission and vibe.

Hailed as “…the next big thing” by Metro Weekly magazine, JChris is an Urban Latinx singer-songwriter (Spotify here). Lauded for his exciting performance energy and smooth voice, JChris’ pop compositions are laced with Latin, Afro and Brazilian influences. Highlights in JChris’ musical career include performing at Carnegie Hall and the White House. He has worked with various music stars including Carlos Vives, Patti LaBelle, Tito Puente and Kristin Chenoweth to name a few. JChris is a Latin Grammys voting member for the Recording Academy and seeks to make a positive mark on the music industry. More recently, JChris has been invited by the U.S. Department of State to stage an international concert tour with his music this year through the American Music Abroad program.
