NYC Health + Hospitals/ Woodhull Pride Parade and Celebration

NYC Health + Hospitals/Woodhull invites you to wear your pride colors on Wednesday, June 30, as we celebrate Pride Month. The event promises to be informative and filled with lots of fun and surprises. Hear from Senator Jabari Brisport, District Leader Samy Nemir Olivares, and other community leaders. Learn about our Pride Health Center from Woodhull’s healthcare heroes, who are specially trained in providing LGBTQ+ gender-affirming care. Read about the Gay Rights Movement on our large storyboards. March with us in the parade as vogue dancers, and drag queens strut their stuff. Stop by tables along the parade route to receive educational materials and giveaways. While you’re here, please don’t forget to take photos in front of our 9 foot tall PRIDE balloon display and enjoy some popcorn on us as you watch live performances featuring musical artists Robert Garcia, Jayse Vegas, and a host of others!
