Out/Spoken Community Workshop

Since 2010, Story District has been celebrating LGBTQIA+ Pride with their signature show — Out/Spoken. This year, in partnership with The Kennedy Center and, once again, Team Rayceen Productions, Story District is expanding this annual tradition to include three free workshops for our friends in the LGBTQIA+ community.

During this interactive 90-minute workshop, you’ll learn how to turn meaningful moments in your life into captivating stories for any audience. Workshops will be held February 22, March 29 and April 26. Each workshop is a stand-alone session. You are invited to attend one, two, or all, but it’s not a 3-part course.

Workshop attendees will have a chance to pitch their stories for the show — May 21, 2022 on Millennium Stage.
