Rainbow Ride 2021

Join the ANC Rainbow Caucus, GGWash, WABA, members of the Bicycle Advisory Committee and Pedestrian Advisory Committee and Lime celebrate queer liberation history on a ride throughout the District. #RainbowRideDC will bring residents and visitors on a bike/scooter tour of historic LGBTQ+ and Black locations and give riders a call to action.

#RainbowRideDC is more than just a ride! We’re riding to raise funds and awareness for HIPS.

Since 1993, HIPS has promoted the health, rights, and dignity of individuals and communities impacted by sexual exchange and/or drug use due to choice, coercion, or circumstance. HIPS provides compassionate harm reduction services, advocacy, and community engagement that is respectful, non-judgmental, and affirms and honors individual power and agency. Click here to donate.

Route

The official route will be announced soon! Riders can expect to bike or scoot approximately 10 miles around the District. We expect the weather to be H-O-T, so please dress accordingly and bring plenty of water!
