In The Seven Years of Absalon, 22-year-old queer Israeli artist Meir Eshel re-invents himself in Paris as the artist Absalon. He quickly rises to stardom, showcased by prestigious museums around the world. More than 25 years after his sudden death, his brother’s first assignment as an estate manager is to sell Absalon’s final art piece.
