On Thursday, #DC installed a permanent rainbow crosswalk at 17th and P Streets near Dupont Circle in honor of Pride month. The crosswalk colors include the traditional colors of the rainbow Pride flag, plus the colors of the transgender Pride flag — light blue, pink and white — along with brown and black stripes to represent LGBTQ persons of color. 📷: DDOT/Mario Sessions. #MyDCcool

The last time the White House was lit in rainbow colors was under President Obama in 2015 after the Supreme Court ruling in Obergefell v. Hodges, which guaranteed a constitutional right to same-sex marriage across America.
