Capital Pride Hero Nominations
Each year, Capital Pride Alliance designates as Heroes those individuals who have furthered the causes important to LGBTA community throughout the national capital region, who have made exceptional contributions, and who have had a positive impact on the lives of others.
Nominate someone you think deserves the title, “Hero”, and who continues to “Make MAGIC Happen”. Deadline is Tuesday, March 15, 2016.
Honorees will be announced in May. Heroes will be recognized during the 2016 Celebration of Pride In The Nation’s Capital at the annual Heroes Gala, generously presented by Hilton and hosted by the Historical Society of Washington, DC at the Carnegie Library, on Wednesday, June 1, 2016, and at the Pride Parade on Saturday, June 11, 2016.
