Casey Oakes

Casey currently serves as Vice President, Corporate Relations at NGLCC: The National LGBT Chamber of Commerce where he works directly with fortune 500 companies on creating opportunities for LGBT-owned businesses within the corporate supply chain.

Prior to joining the NGLCC, Casey worked as a constituent advocate for United States Senator Frank R. Lautenberg. In this role, Casey served as the senator’s principle liaison to New Jersey LGBT community, tracking relevant news and legislation, conducting outreach, and developing relationships with key stakeholders. In addition, Casey advised the senator on small business, immigration, and transportation issues. Casey holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from American University.

In his spare time, Casey is active in Stonewall Sports and volunteers with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training program.
