Michele Irimia

Michele Irimia has been involved in the pride movement for over 20 years. She is a long-time member of Heritage of Pride, Inc. (HOP), aka NYC Pride. She has served on the board of NYC Pride in many capacities including March Director, Co-Chair, and Development Director. She is currently the Rally Director. Michele has also been a long-time member of InterPride where she has held the titles of Regional Director for Region 6, North East Regional Prides, Co-Chair for the Human Rights Committee and Co-Chair for the Scholarship Committee. Ms. Irimia was one of the speakers at NYC Women’s March in January 2017 and has spoken publicly on LGBTQ+ rights and equality around the world. Michele is both thrilled and eager to be part of the Capital Pride Alliance. After living in DC for two years, a place she will always consider her second home, she currently resides in NYC with her fiancé Imani Brown who she met in DC. She travels often to DC to visit family and lifelong friends.
