The Capital Pride Alliance fulfills its mission with the help of a volunteer team serving year-round or as one of over hundreds of on-site event volunteers.

We believe that Pride is more than any single event, it is a commitment that we make all year long. Our team works to create inclusive events, thought provoking programs, and long-lasting partnerships that celebrate our collective accomplishments, diversity, and resilience.

Serve on a Production Team or Committee

We are seeking experienced volunteers who are skilled and passionate in planning large-scale events and educational programs, fundraising, providing outreach and advocacy, and in uplifting the organizations, small businesses, and members of our diverse LGBTQ+ community.

Step 1: Login or Create An Account

If you are interested in serving on a committee or production team, or volunteering at an event and earning volunteer hours, please complete step 1.

Sign-Up

To sign up:

Log into or create a new Pride365 community account.
Once logged in or registered, select Volunteer Portal.
It will prompt you to complete your profile then, take you automatically to your account overview page.

Step 2: Sign-Up for Volunteer Opportunities

Once submitted, you will receive an email to activate your Pride365 community profile. You will begin to receive information about volunteer trainings, orientations, and notifications when specific job opportunities become available.

At the top of the page, you’ll see ‘For Volunteers’ and you’ll click ‘Find Volunteer Opportunity’ to sign up.
Select the opportunity, then click sign up!
Once you hit sign up, you will be prompted to sign a waiver. Sign it.
Once it’s signed and submitted, the volunteer opportunity will appear as a success and will be located in your Account Overview.
You are able to download your QR code for checking into your shift but it will also be located on your Account Overview page.
